The Sweden Democrats are, therefore, another irregular party for which there should be no place in the always smiling and self-satisfied Brussels Europe. And yet, it was this group that best diagnosed the problems that are consuming the country. It was them who spoke openly about two parallel worlds that are being created in Sweden. One is the almost virtual reality - one of the folders of Social Democrats praising the welfare state, and the other world - where immigrant clans and gangs rule. The latter’s history, the new Sweden, is written mainly in criminal records.
The Sweden Democrats were led to victory by the charismatic leader Jimmie Åkesson, who took over the party in 2005 when he was only 26 years old. The amateur Viking Rock keyboardist softened the tone a bit. Therefore, the postulate to leave the EU was abandoned. Still, the party is strongly opposed to transferring greater power to Brussels and creating a Federated State - the United States of Europe. There is also no question of abandoning the Swedish currency in favour of the collapsing Euro.

The elections in Italy and Sweden are other symptoms of changes that are starting to take place among the nations of Europe. In June in France, the National Union of Marine Le Pen achieved a historic result, becoming the third political force on the Seine. The National Assembly now has 89 deputies - eleven times more than in the previous term, when it had eight altogether.
Brussels still does not notice these changes, ignores them and continues its poor procedure as usual, but sooner or later, it will collide with the new reality.
Italy and other right-wing states are close to having a blocking minority in the Council of the European Union - a minimum of four countries representing at least 35% of the EU's population. Italy, Poland, Hungary, Sweden and the Czech Republic account for around 30% of the EU population.
The Old Continent is changing and is getting ready to fight for its own identity.
